DRACULA'S ARK

Dracula was very worried. For some time now there had been lots of talk about rain and he had it on good authority that God was planning a deluge: something about the world not coming out quite as planned and wanting to start all over again. This was all very well, but there were a lot of people in the world who weren't that keen on being started all over again themselves and Dracula was one of them. Trouble was, no one was doing very much about it. There was only one old man who had taken the situation seriously, a bit of an oddball called Noah. Noah was building an ark. (God had actually given him the plans for it.) The ark was to have enough room for his family and two of every kind of animal. Unfortunately it wasn't going to have enough room for Dracula and if Dracula wanted to be in the New World he was going to have to do something about it himself.
Noah had a big family to help him build the ship but Dracula had always been single and didn't have a family. He would have to find help somewhere else. Just as Dracula was thinking about this, the Archangel Lucifer (one of Dracula's best friends) rushed down from the sky in a blaze of fiery brightness. "There is no time to waste," said the Archangel. "God has just announced that the rain is to start the day after tomorrow!" (Lucifer was still in God's good books at that time and the archangel always knew what was going on.)
