Having seen that the loading was properly finished and that everything wasn't just dumped in any old place, Dracula got himself a brush and a tin of red paint and went to do the most important task of all. He had just started when Lucifer came down to see how things were going. The archangel looked at the submarine admiringly. "Progressive, that's what I call it," he remarked approvingly. "Will it be ready in time?"
"Yes," said Dracula. "We've just got to fit the propellers which X is doing now. A couple of swamp trolls are going to turn them once we're under way but you'll have to ask X for the details if you want to know more." Dracula wasn't very good technically.
"No time," said Lucifer. "Got a big meeting in Heaven. Final instructions for the Big Rain!" He spread fiery wings that looked even more fiery than usual. "Say hello to the vampires for me," he said and flashed into the sky and out of sight. Dracula watched the archangel vanish and then carried on with what he was doing. He was painting 'DRACULA'S ARK' in large red letters on the side of the ship.
